Home Inspection

S.C. Elliott provides home, condominium and radon inspections throughout Michigan. Residential inspections consist of thoroughly vetting all areas of the home, including structure and foundation, heating and cooling units, kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, roof and chimney, doors and windows, electrical, plumbing, exterior and the basement or crawl space.

Home inspections are typically done prior to the purchase of a home; re-inspections can be conducted if you aren’t satisfied with a previous inspection report.

Radon Inspection

Radon is a cancer-causing, radioactive gas that you can’t see, smell or taste. But it may be a problem in your home. Radon comes from the natural decay of uranium found in soil, and it typically finds its way into your home via cracks or holes in the foundation. Any home may have a radon problem. This means new and old homes, well-sealed and drafty homes, and homes with or without basements.

Adding a Radon Inspection to your Home Inspection is easy and makes the most sense to ensure the home you’re about to purchase is as safe as possible for you and your family.
